Contemporary jewellery made with years of experience, passion and eclectic inspiration

Nancye has created and sold jewellery in many different workshops but, having recently moved to the Isle of Wight, feels she has found her roots in the sand of its wonderful beaches.

The materials she uses are traditional, silver, gold, brass, copper, bronze, gilding metal and gemstones but her techniques are original and inspired by the subject and process.

Her jewellery comes in several ranges, all inspired by her surroundings. ORB (archaeology), SEA URCHIN (Maltese!), STANDING STONE (Maltese neolithic temples),  STONEWALL (red sandstone walls in and around Brampton in the Eden Valley). Cumbria also inspired her obsession with geology and stones as well as STRATA and PLANETS is the most recent. 

BEADSCAPES came from being away from her bench during lockdown. Using beautiful Japanese glass beads and silk cord, she  ‘painted a landscape with beads’ having seen so much of the streets and fells around Keswick during the permitted walks. 

The Isle of Wight is now her current muse and the latest obsession is, of course, fossil hunting. Her recent move to a workshop in Department, Ryde is also inspiring new work which you can browse in her workshop window.
